VISIT THE EXHIBITION
Organized by the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Design with the Other 90%: CITIES will be on view at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City from October 15, 2011, through January 9, 2012. The installation is inside the Visitors Center, located on 1st Avenue at 46th Street, which is open to the public with the following hours: M-F 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (galleries open until 5:30 p.m.). Weekends 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (galleries open until 5:30 p.m.).
ADMISSION TO THE EXHIBITION IS FREE.
The UN Visitors Center is closed on the following holidays:
Eid-al-Adha Holiday (Monday, November 7)
Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24)
Christmas Holiday (Sunday and Monday, December 25 and 26 )
New Year Holiday (Saturday, December 31 early closing at 4:00PM and closed Sunday, January 1)
January weekend (Saturday and Sunday, January 7 and 8)
